Nimbuzz is the free call and messaging app for the connected generation.
Nimbuzz combines the powers of the Internet and mobile communications into one, and lets you make calls, send messages and share files, on any mobile device, for free.
The application is free to download and use. Nimbuzz requires a data connection, and operator data costs will apply. For this reason we recommend you to have a flat rate data plan or free Wi-Fi hot-spot available to be able to use the full benefits of the application without data charges.
With NimbuzzOut you can call mobile and landline phones at really low rates

If you receive this error message, uninstall Nimbuzz and reinstall it again saving the application file on the phone memory (c: drive) instead of the sym card memory.

Starting on 1st January 2011 all files older than 6 months will be removed from your Online gallery in order to make room for new files in our servers.

You can change your alias, (alias is the nickname that the other people can see when they talk to you) but not your username (the one that people uses to add you as a contact)

We do support calling from all countries but due to some credit card restrictions, payments with credit cards from some countries are not possible and as a consequence calling will not be enabled there. You can check the list of unsupported countries here.

If you want to make a call to your phonebook contacts while logged in to Nimbuzz:
Go to the "Call" tab > Click on the top bar on the "Call" tab > Select NimbuzzOut as your VoIP provider > Go back to phonebook > Select a contact from your Nimbuzz phonebook and click on it. The call will start immediately!
Make sure that all the phone numbers in your phonebook are in international format. To avoid any formatting problems, always start the number with "+" followed by the country code and the phone number.'
If you want to dial a number that's not in your phonebook while logged into Nimbuzz:
Go to the "Call" tab > Click on the top bar showing "Dial a number" > Do not forget to start with a "+" followed by the country code (e.g.: + 44 and phone number if you are calling UK)
To avoid any formatting problems, always start the number with "+" followed by the country code and the phone number.
To make a call using NimbuzzOut for PC, select the "Dialpad" tab and enter the number you wish to call. Remember to include the international dialing code.
To change your VoIP provider, click on your NimbuzzOut balance, select "VoIP provider settings", choose the "SIP provider" button, select your SIP provider from the list and enter your username and password.
When calling a phonebook contact or dialing a phone number, your own phone number will not be visible. "Unknown" or "Blank" will be shown on the phone screen of the call receiver.
In some cases it is even possible that a random number may be shown, depending on the operator and country you are calling.
To test the audio we recommend you call "Jimmy the Test Bot". If you can hear and record yourself for a few seconds, it will mean that you are able to place a call and the sound quality is correct.

Nimbuzz uses a data connection, and charges by your operator will apply unless you have an unlimited data plan or use a free Wi-Fi hotspot. Nimbuzz will not charge you for incoming calls. While we do not hand out specific Nimbuzz phone numbers to our users, incoming calls that are not incoming VoIP calls are not related to Nimbuzz. Check your operator for more details about the costs of incoming international calls.
When you select a credit card as your payment option you must ensure that you enter all your information correctly, otherwise we cannot accept your order.
Please also ensure that the billing address you enter matches the billing address for your card.
